Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny was very skimpy on the candy this year, but brought some really cool toys. The boys were up at 6:30 wanting to go out and try their new golf clubs. They were so excited! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for everything, we love having you here.

All the loot!

Porter was searching the baskets for candy.

I was trying to get them to do the peace sign, Jack kind of got it. The first think Brock did was stick up his middle finger, I about died. They love their new Transformer sunglasses.

Any bets on how long it will take them to trash these clubs? The day is not even over and we already have two casualties.

Happy Easter!

Easter Pageant

We had been planning all week to go to the Easter Pageant on Saturday with my sisters. While I was not that excited about taking my three rowdy boys, I really did want to go. It has been years since the last time. Ryan's parents came for the weekend and we started Saturday with breakfast at our house, then we took the kids to see Horton Hears a Who, then we did a little window shopping (the boys and I rode the escalator, so exciting), did lunch, then Joan & I took all three boys to the store and the car wash while the men went to the golf store (great trade don't you think?). By the time Ryan got home, it was 6pm and his allergies were driving him nuts and he did not want to go and wrestle with the kids. Brandy called to tell me she was not going to make it (such a flake j/k). I felt bad because Amy was there saving us all seats, such a trooper, thanks Am. Thanks to my great in-laws, they offered to watch the kids so Ryan and I could go (I think that was the only way that I was going to get Ryan to go). I was about to fall asleep on the way there, but I am so glad that we went, it was a great experience. We always need a reminder of all that Christ has done for us. It was great to see Amy and her family too. Her kids are getting so big, especially Valon, she is beautiful! On the way out I told Ryan that I wanted to get a picture of one of the soldiers, so Ryan walks up to one of them and says, "Hey, can my wife get a picture with you, she is too big of a chicken to ask?" The guys says, "Sure!", then grabs me and puts his knife to my neck. He did let me hold his whip, maybe I should have used it on Ryan...

Thursday, March 13, 2008

Ryan's mom just sent me these pictures and I thought they were so cute, I had to post them. Jackson wanted so badly to play football with Brock. There were several times I had to drag him off the field. Jackson wants to do everything that Brock does, he thinks he is so big. I just love this picture.

Ryan's parents are so good to us and our kids. They are always there to be supportive no matter what the kids are doing. The kids love having them around. I love this picture of Brock with Grandpa.
Hut, hut, hut!

Chocolate Milk?

I am sure that I made plenty of mud pies in my day and I am sure that my mom was none to happy to see us walking in the house muddy. For those of you who do not know my mom, she is a clean freak - Love you MOM! Anyhow, yesterday my boys were outside playing in the dirt, "We're making chocolate milk", they said. Well I was in a hurry because I had scouts and I needed a shower so bad, so I asked Brock to keep an eye on the kids and keep them outside because I knew they were filthy and we just got our carpets cleaned. So I am getting out of the shower and Porter comes walking into my bathroom and he is covered in mud. I tried not to freak, thank goodness it was mostly on his top half and not on his feet. He was so proud of his muddy face, but did not want me to take a picture.

Egg Hunt!

Last week our ward had a Primary Easter Egg Hunt, the kids had a blast. Each child was to get 13 eggs, so they let the kids loose and in no time at all Brock and Jackson had their baskets full. I asked Brock, you only got 13 right? (He can definitely count to 13) He says, "Yep!" I count them just to make sure, glad I did, he probably had over 30 eggs in his basket. Brock was none too happy when we started taking eggs out of his basket, as you can see in the picture. Jackson didn't care how many eggs he got, he just wanted to candy that was inside. The boys actually got their candy taken away because they were misbehaving in church on Sunday, so we put it all on the fridge (that is where everything that is confiscated goes). So yesterday I was sitting at the computer doing some work and I can hear the sound of wrappers being ripped open, so I go to see what Jackson was into. Sure enough, he had crawled on the fridge to get his candy, and by the time I found him, he had eaten most of it, there were wrappers and eggs everywhere. This kid is fast, and determined when it comes to candy.
