Conference

I think this was one of my very favorite conferences ever! To be part of sustaining a new prophet was so awesome. I got the chills when they asked everyone to stand at the conference center and sustain Pres. Monson, it was amazing. And to think that millions of people were watching and sustaining him as well. I am so thankful to have a prophet to lead and guide us and I know that Pres. Monson was chosen by God, I love that man!

All the talks were great. My kids would sit still every once in a while and listen. I think that even when you think they are not listening, something gets in. I just hope I can do all I can to teach them everything they need to know.

TAG

I am finally getting around to responding to Melissa's TAG - sorry!

If money, time and babysitting were no object, where would you go and who would you go with?

I would have to say a beach somewhere, anywhere, preferably tropical. Of course I would love to spend it with Ryan. Time alone with him is getting more difficult with his work schedule and having to find a babysitter. Our new get away together is to go put the kids in the kids club at the gym and play racquetball, he even lets me win some. Love you babe!

When was the last time you cried?

I know I have recently, but I can't remember why!

5 favorite memories

1. My wedding day! It was the end of July in Mesa, but that morning it was overcast and we were able to get our pictures done before it started to rain. Our ceremony was perfect and the sun was shining when we came out!
2. Definitely the birth of my kids. Brock's delivery I would love to forget, but seeing him for the first time was amazing! The other two deliveries were cake and I am so blessed to have these three spirits in my home.
3. Vacationing with my family as a kid. We didn't have a lot, but we still had the greatest adventures. We would just camp along the way. My favorite memories are camping and being in the outdoors. Colorado was one of our favorite places.
4. Hanging out with my Granny, eating spam sandwiches, hicama and dilly bars from Dairy Queen. I really miss her.
5. Girls vacation to San Diego with my girls Casey Ann, Nicole, Cyndi & Randa. We had so much fun just laying on the beach and relaxing. We were all pregnant at the time. Miss you girls!

I tag Casey Ann, Leslie & Tenneal!

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny was very skimpy on the candy this year, but brought some really cool toys. The boys were up at 6:30 wanting to go out and try their new golf clubs. They were so excited! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for everything, we love having you here.

All the loot!

Porter was searching the baskets for candy.

I was trying to get them to do the peace sign, Jack kind of got it. The first think Brock did was stick up his middle finger, I about died. They love their new Transformer sunglasses.

Any bets on how long it will take them to trash these clubs? The day is not even over and we already have two casualties.

Happy Easter!

Easter Pageant

We had been planning all week to go to the Easter Pageant on Saturday with my sisters. While I was not that excited about taking my three rowdy boys, I really did want to go. It has been years since the last time. Ryan's parents came for the weekend and we started Saturday with breakfast at our house, then we took the kids to see Horton Hears a Who, then we did a little window shopping (the boys and I rode the escalator, so exciting), did lunch, then Joan & I took all three boys to the store and the car wash while the men went to the golf store (great trade don't you think?). By the time Ryan got home, it was 6pm and his allergies were driving him nuts and he did not want to go and wrestle with the kids. Brandy called to tell me she was not going to make it (such a flake j/k). I felt bad because Amy was there saving us all seats, such a trooper, thanks Am. Thanks to my great in-laws, they offered to watch the kids so Ryan and I could go (I think that was the only way that I was going to get Ryan to go). I was about to fall asleep on the way there, but I am so glad that we went, it was a great experience. We always need a reminder of all that Christ has done for us. It was great to see Amy and her family too. Her kids are getting so big, especially Valon, she is beautiful! On the way out I told Ryan that I wanted to get a picture of one of the soldiers, so Ryan walks up to one of them and says, "Hey, can my wife get a picture with you, she is too big of a chicken to ask?" The guys says, "Sure!", then grabs me and puts his knife to my neck. He did let me hold his whip, maybe I should have used it on Ryan...

Ryan's mom just sent me these pictures and I thought they were so cute, I had to post them. Jackson wanted so badly to play football with Brock. There were several times I had to drag him off the field. Jackson wants to do everything that Brock does, he thinks he is so big. I just love this picture.

Ryan's parents are so good to us and our kids. They are always there to be supportive no matter what the kids are doing. The kids love having them around. I love this picture of Brock with Grandpa.
Hut, hut, hut!
